Intel “forgot” to mention its 28-core CPU demo was bogus



Intel’s demonstration of what it claimed was a new CPU at Computex has proved to be an exaggeration. It was heavily overclocked and required a phase-change unit to do so. That makes AMD’s Threadripper 2 even more exciting.
